No vote count updates have been posted on the Kern County elections department webpage since 11/4/2026 at 2:55 am.

Ridgecrest’s City Council Election is a Charade and the City of Ridgecrest is a Clown Show Produced by the Kern County Elections Department

We don’t know how many votes haven’t been counted, and we don’t know when they’ll update the Elections webpage.

Kern County Elections Department is Dark, lights out, no one’s home.

Decision desk HQ reports nothing, no votes on Council race.

What the ????.

UPDATE November 4, 2026, 6:00 pm Pacific

The Ridgecrest City Council meeting is tonight. The meeting starts at 6:00 pm and can be watched live on the city’s YouTube channel.

There have been no additional election updates prior to 6:00 pm.

UPDATE November 4, 2026, 7:40 am Pacific

Ridgecrest has 16,000 registered voters. Estimates of votes range from a minimum of 8000 to as high as 9000.

The first count was mail-in, the second count is probably in-person voting, and the fact that they’re confirming the order of candidates is positive. It’s tight in council race and the water district.

If this holds as I believe it will , the GA is “toast”!
