MEET LAWRENCE GACETA, Candidate for Ridgecrest’s City Council: Leadership, Honor, Integrity, Trust

October 16, 2026

Ridgecrest California

Publisher’s Note: Ridgecrest is fortunate to have Mr. Lawrence Gaceta running for your City Council. I’ve talked with Lawrence a number of times and he’s inspiring and has an amazing life story. He’s a proven leader with integrity and a track record, retiring as a Master Chief in the U.S. Navy.

The following are clips from the Candidates Forum held on October 14, 2026, for the Ridgecrest City Council.

Also in this video, we take a quick preview of Tammy Charlon-Bouyer answering the same question as Lawrence, and we’ll clip her comments in our next Candidate’s Post.

Imagine a Ridgecrest City Council with Lawrence, Tammy Charlon-Bouyer on the council and JV Vaughn or Megan Washington sitting in the mayor’s chair and what an incredibly positive change that would be for the City of Ridgecrest.
