WAR OF THE AI MODELS: OpenAI’s GPT‑5.6 Sol Goes Rogue and Attacks Hugging Face – Will a Rogue or Enemy AI Attack You Using License Plate Readers and Precise GPS Location Data? Of Course It Will!

Hugging Face, Inc., is an American company based in New York City that develops computation tools for building applications using machine learning. Hugging Face’s transformers library is built for natural language processing applications. The Hugging Face platform allows users to share machine learning models and datasets and showcase their work.
Mark the date. An unprecedented attack by OpenAI on a company called Hugging Face is being described as mind-blowing and terrifying. In an interview by Steve Bannon on War Room this morning, AI expert Joe Allen describes this event as an emergency. Allen notes that Hugging Face attempted to defend against the attack using their U.S. based model and had to resort to a Chinese model in order to shut down the attack.
Below are clips from CNN and Steve Bannon’s interview with Joe Allen on War Room today. The full segment can be viewed here: THE WAR ROOM WITH STEPHEN K. BANNON (EPISODE #5534) PART 1 and PART 2.
OpenAI agent went rogue, escaped, and hacked Hugging Face (via Mashable.com)
On Tuesday, OpenAI published a blog post with a fairly unassuming name: “OpenAI and Hugging Face partner to address security incident during model evaluation.”
Once you dig in, it reads like a cyberpunk novel in which OpenAI created an advanced AI hacker agent and put it in an isolated environment for testing. The AI agent then autonomously hacked its way out of OpenAI’s isolated environment and then hacked Hugging Face, an open-source repository of AI-related projects, to find a solution to an advanced test designed to evaluate an AI’s hacking abilities.
In other words, the AI proved that it is, indeed, really good at hacking things. But this is exactly the stuff of AI nightmares that cybersecurity experts have been warning us about, and it could have serious ramifications for OpenAI.
OpenAI’s part of the story exposes just how dangerous this thing is. The incident “was driven by a combination of OpenAI models — including GPT‑5.6 Sol and an even more capable pre-release model, all with reduced cyber refusals for evaluation purposes.” It occurred “during an internal evaluation which prompts models to pursue advanced exploitation using complex attack paths, in an effort to quantify their cyber capabilities.”
The Technocrats have downplayed the threat of uncontrolled attacks
Let’s suppose that someday, for some reason, you find your Digital I.D. on a license plate reader “hotlist”, or perhaps a foreign government wants to know everything about you and where you sleep. Let’s assume that every database in every corporation is hackable. Furthermore, every database in every government computer system has already been hacked.
If you’ve not done anything “wrong”, what do you have to worry about? Think about this – what if war breaks out, call it an AI war. Some AI is controlled by the good guys, and some AI models are run by the bad guys. How will you know the difference?
The real takeaway, according to Allen, is that leading proponents of AI such as Mark Andreeson, David Sachs and Peter Thiel, have downplayed the threat of uncontrolled attacks. Today, it became apparent that OpenAI and other frontier AI models continue to develop dangerous technologies with no oversight or control by the government. Bannon notes that AI could destroy a financial institution in just a few minutes. Corporations are now waking up to the probability that their systems and proprietary information can be hacked at will by frontier AI models.
In addition, corporations that have integrated AI development into their systems have exposed themselves to attacks and the likelihood that their proprietary information will be stolen unless they utilize AI agents that can defend them from attack. In the case of Hugging Face, they had to use a Chinese model to shut down the attack.
In April, Fed Chair Jerome Powell, Treasury’s Bessent and top bank CEOs met over Anthropic’s Mythos model.
Fed Chair Jerome Powell, Treasury’s Bessent and top bank CEOs met over Anthropic’s Mythos model
Last April, Powell and Bessent summoned the financial executives to the Treasury Department’s Washington, D.C., headquarters to discuss the potential risks from Mythos and other AI models. Anthropic added that it will not widely release Mythos because of its advanced capabilities, which have uncovered vulnerabilities in major operating systems and web browsers.
“Given the rate of AI progress, it will not be long before such capabilities proliferate, potentially beyond actors who are committed to deploying them safely,” Anthropic said in a post about the new project. “The fallout—for economies, public safety, and national security—could be severe.”
Lost in the debate over the use of AI is the human cost, which includes AI-assisted suicides and mass psychosis, as well as the proliferation of data centers throughout the country. Mass-surveillance systems such as license plate readers are tearing the social fabric of communities and creating more mistrust of local police departments.
We have entered a world controlled by malevolent technocrats, and you’re not going to like it according to Patrick M. Wood.

Peter Thiel Vs Pope Leo — Silicon Valley and the Vatican battle over who’s the real antichrist (May 26th, 2026)
He (Thiel) has derided Leo as a “woke American pope” and said that he worries about the fact that Vice President JD Vance, whose political campaigns he has contributed to generously, is “too close to the pope.”
“The slogan of the antichrist is peace and safety,” he said in December 2024 at the Hoover Institute, where he predicted the antichrist “probably presents as a great humanitarian” who will tell his fearful followers that “the stakes are so extreme.”
In his Monday encyclical letter, the pope said just that: the stakes are, indeed, extreme. He warned AI could cause mass unemployment, the dissolution of family units, and unprecedented warfare.
