Release 01 CLEARED FOR RELEASE – MAY 8, 2026

The first release includes still monochrome images, FBI files from the 1950’s and images from the surface of the moon during the Apollo missions. This release is just the beginning of the process of disclosing millions of documents, images, videos and files. There’s so much information to be analyzed it will take years to process and investigate, and while hundreds if not thousands of citizen UFO sleuths will make a career of digging into the archives.

What the Hell is That?

It’s especially appropriate to start this post off with an actual video of two dudes who saw something unidentified a few years ago. To this day they have no idea what they witnessed, just as millions of other humans who, for centuries, have looked up to the skies, saw something weird flying around and exclaimed “what the hell is that?”

The Vandenburg Red Square Incident

Between 2003 and 2005, five UAP incidents occurred and Vandenburg Air Force Base. Listen to the eyewitness testimony of U.S. Air Force and Navy veterans before the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets on September 10, 2025 and watch the video of the Hellfire bounce off the fast-moving object. What the hell is that?

Hellfire Missile Bounces off UFO? WTF!

We’ve been eagerly awaiting this day, and while videos aren’t included in RELEASE 01, the encounter we’re currently most interested in was the video shown during the testimony of a Hellfire missile bouncing off a UAP. We know this with absolute metaphysical certitude – the Hellfire missile doesn’t just bounce of a flying object, be it a UFO or a UAP.

Hopefully, the rocket scientists at the Naval Air Warfare Station at China Lake have figured out why there was no explosion. We’d also like to know why the military was attempting to shoot it down. Are we in yet another endless war with the alien’s UAP?

Below you’ll find the Post where we asked the Public Information Office at China Lake to throw us a bone. Of course, we haven’t received a response and hope they’ve figured out why the Hellfire didn’t explode.

What’s up with this China Lake?

Directive

In response to President Donald J. Trump’s directive for transparency on U.S. government information regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), the Department of War (DOW), with support from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), is overseeing government wide efforts to expeditiously find, review, identify, declassify and publicly release unresolved UAP-related records and historical documents in the federal government’s possession. This is an unprecedented, historic undertaking that requires coordination between dozens of agencies and the review of tens of millions of records, many existing only on paper, spanning many decades. Given the scope of this task, the Department of War will be releasing new materials on a rolling basis as they are discovered and declassified, with tranches posted every few weeks.

The materials archived here are unresolved cases, meaning the government is unable to make a definitive determination on the nature of the observed phenomena. This can occur for a variety of reasons, including a lack of sufficient data, and the Department of War welcomes the application of private-sector analysis, information and expertise. DOW will continue to conduct separate reporting on resolved UAP cases, as mandated by statute. Under this Administration, we will pursue the truth and share our findings with the American people.

Three Dots in the Lunar Sky, Apollo 17

As part of the review of historical UAP materials under PURSUE, DOW has opened a case to investigate the accompanying NASA photograph from the Apollo 17 mission, taken December 1972. The image contains three “dots” in a triangular formation in the lower right quadrant of the lunar sky that is clearly visible upon magnification of the image. While this photo has been previously released and discussed by keen observers, there is no consensus about the nature of the anomaly. New preliminary US government analysis suggests the image feature is potentially the result of a physical object in the scene. Additionally, as part of this investigation, the government has obtained the original film from the Apollo 17 mission and the results of the full NASA and DOW analysis will be released when completed.
