If they get their way, residents of Ridgecrest California will be paying for the most expensive water in the history of mankind. Remember that “recruitment and retention” is the Navy’s number one concern at China Lake. The only threat to national security would be that nobody will want to live there and NAWS will have to move operations to Arizona.
