City Council PLACER.AI Debate Continues, Questions That Demand Answers

Correction: Chip Holloway is the Chairman of the Board of Desert Valleys Credit Union.

Mayor Eric Bruen is the CEO of Desert Valleys Credit Union and Councilman Solomon Rajartnam is an employee of the company acting in the area of business development and lending. Councilman Rajaratnam was with Alta One Federal Credit Union when he was first elected and subsequently was hired by Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union. He’s stuck in between a rock and a hard place, as they say.

The City of Ridgecrest and has opened a big can of worms. At Wednesday’s city council meeting, Tom Wiknich wants ten questions answered by City Manager Ron Strand and the City’s intended use of the GPS surveillance and geofencing analytics provided by the human data trafficking company Placer.ai. His public comment as well as the comments from some riff-raff that may have been seen blocking sidewalks with fake yard sale signs can be watched below. (Timestamped to begin at Mr. Wiknich’s comments):

Mr. Strand and Council members,

Here is a written list of 10 questions I asked at last nights council meeting. I would appreciate answers. You declare transparency and privacy is important to you all. Answering these questions should encourage the safe guards the city should establish protecting our privacy and promote openness to the citizens.

1. Who will have access to ANY Placer AI provided research?

2. Will any individual be able to request a report without approval from city manager?

3. Will any business or private organization be able to request a report?

4. Who will set surveillance criteria?

5. Will the general public have access to the system, or be able to request a report?

6. Will any city staff be able to request a report without city mgr approval?

7. Will public be notified when the city initiates a surveillance study?

8. Will individual business’s ever be studied without their knowledge?

9. Will the council be provided study info in a public meeting establishing a public record of all studies?

10. Will it be used for any political campaigns or other political reasons?

Respectfully,

Thomas Wiknich

Ridgecrest, California

This video of the late George Carlin’s “American Dream” speech is taken from the 2005 HBO special “Life is Worth Losing”.

“It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it” is the one of the most memorable lines from Carlin’s many inciteful cultural memes, and you will soon realize that Ridgecrest is no different than any small town in America and why it’s called “the American Dream”, and why, as Carlin explains “you have to be asleep to believe it.”

George Carlin is the apparent inspiration for our grand “Ridgecrest Millenials” post, and you’ll also realize that Mayor Eric Bruen is the political personification of the “red white and blue” thing he describes “that’s being shoved” and so on and so forth*. Listen and learn from an American “prophet”. Ask yourself why the public schools didn’t teach you this valuable lesson, now did they…

*Publisher’s edit: The publisher (me) enjoys writing in a literary style that gets to the point quickly. Sometimes the publisher (me) of this free, quite informative little blog, expresses himself with explective added, as much can be said in just a few selected words or phrases to indicate one’s level of frustration, shall we say. In the future, the publisher (me) will make every attempt to correct his occasional case of potty mouth, however he will continue to ruffle everyone’s feathers. 🙂

You’ve Been Had by Mayor Eric Bruen

Let’s get this out right at the top. Ridgecrest’s millenial “community” should be alarmed by the behavior, judgement and political ideology of Mayor Eric Bruen of Ridgecrest, especially if they plan to live in Ridgecrest and raise a family while working on the base.

The City of Ridgecrest and the Indian Wells Valley are falling into a very deep hole. It’s called the buy now and pay later debt trap. My dear millenials, can you guess who’s gonna pay for it all? This post will answer your questions.

A Clown Show and a Carnival Barker

conflict of interest (noun)

  1. A conflict between a person’s private interests and public obligations.
  2. A situation in which someone in a position of trust, such as a lawyer, insurance adjuster, a politician, executive or director of a corporation or a medical research scientist or physician, has competing professional or personal interests.
  3. A situation in which a public official’s decisions are influenced by the official’s personal interests.

After successfully taking over the City just 32 months ago, Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union CEO Eric Bruen has turned the City of Ridgecrest into an “event” promotion company primarily benefitting Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union and the Desert Empire Fair, which is sponsored by Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union, which is run by a board member of Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union named “Chip” Holloway, who’s currently on the payroll of Waste Management Inc., which is the mandated franchise waste hauler picking up your trash, which is also mandated to be separated into three bins under threat of fines for non-compliance, and so forth and so on.

We know that Bruen is both willing and capable of infringing on your privacy and civil rights in order to get what he wants. During the September 1, 2021 City Council meeting on Covid 19, the Mayor made compliance with vax mandates a “choice”, saying “you have a choice to go someplace else” without reservation, so don’t let him fool you twice. He’ll do it again. #DONOTCOMPLY

If you, my science-trusting millenials, are confused by Bruen’s political ideology and your public school education indoctrination, we’ll help un-confuse you in this way-too-long post. It may be too long for a Facebook post, but its necessary foundation for future Roadrunner395.com posts with our ongoing “Bruen’s a buffoon” theme (or meme as you call theme’s).

buffoon bə-foo͞n′ noun

  1. A clown; a jester.
  2. A person given to clowning and joking.
  3. A ludicrous or bumbling person; a fool.

He is what he is, and that should concern all of us if we care about silly things such as the Constitution, civil rights and a civil society that respects and trusts our legal system, our election system and our public officials.

Trust Mayor Bruen, Councilman Blades and Placer.ai?

Trust does not matter to Eric Bruen, or he wouldn’t have tried to quietly insert a dystopian “human data trafficking” and mass surveillance company called Placer.ai into the City’s budget process on May 3rd without a public agenda item or a vote by the council. He would have made this serious decision with no public debate or notice until Councilman Scott Hayman stopped him. This is what Bruen and Councilman Kyle Blades call “transparency“, that is, telling you what they intend to do whether you like it or not.

Placer.ai is a “Stand-up company” – Councilman Kyle Blades, May 3, 2023 Council meeting

“Wow!” – Mayor Eric Bruen holding his pacifier, May 3, 2023 Council meeting

Placer.ai is “capitalism at its finest” – Councilman Kyle Blades, August 16, 2023 Council meeting

Trust? No. Fucking Bleeping.Way. Something Stinks.

They want you in chains. Not visible, but in chains. Electric cars, that can be traced and turned off by them. Electric heat, electronic currency, traceable phones, “cookies,” medical “passports”, masks pic.twitter.com/PLJwnYC1Tn

— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) August 30, 2023

Bruen’s not your daddy, my precious young-uns, and he’s not a boy scout. He’s the CEO of a very small, federally insured credit union (with only $65 million in assets) located in a single location in a DOD-owned company town with two much larger federally insured credit unions competing against his tiny one. (haha)

In the next week, we’ll be putting up a post on the state of the economy and break down an interview with the Chief Economist of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), and we’ll give an example where a credit union CEO-Mayor like Bruen could will use Placer.ai GPS location data to monitor the demographics and foot traffic at locations such as Alta One Federal Credit Union and Navy Federal Credit Union. Do you think they’ve figured that out yet? Bruen has.

Older millenials will be interested in what the CUNA’s chief economist has to say about Bruen’s plans for economic growth in times of rising uncertainty, rising interest rates, rising inflation and rising unemployment. Those are what we call “hurricane force headwinds“, and nobody is happy about the cost of food, water, electricity, gas, trash or sewage treatment right now, especially since you’re paying for things that haven’t been built yet. (See Community Pool, AVEK water pipeline and Wastewater Treatment facility)

Ridgecrest has the wrong “mindset”

Why does the City feel the need to change citizen’s mindset that everything is free Chip? Remember millenials: Chip is a carnival barker and a Waste Management trash man and a member of the board of directors at Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union. He knows you’re happy because you don’t complain at City Council meetings, giving Bruen your “tacit approval” of his schemes. Chip is a noob in millenial-speak.

Wait until the older millenials find out they’ll be eating bugs or McLab burgers for dinner because they got roped by the global warming scam. Check out https://Geoengineeringwatch.org before your head explodes.

You’ll wonder whether the climate change narrative coming from our politicians is actually true science or just another scheme for global bankers to take over the world while starving you into submission.

This is what the global climate change alarmists, the United Nations and social justice warriors call “global food insecurity” and what we call the predicate to “starvation and famine“:

Politicians are put there to make you believe you have freedom of choice” — George Carlin

We won’t bother bringing up the other mandates such as the EV’s you’ll have to buy, the deadly and injurious mRNA vaccines you’ll have to take or the rainbow masks you’ll have to wear in order to stay in the cool kids club. Bruen will talk you into compliance and tell you that it’s your “choice” to go someplace else. He’s very good at that “you have a choice” bullshit. See below for an example. Bruen learned “management techniques” in college just 6 years ago according to his Hollywood Facebook. A synonym for “management” is “manipulation” in our Thesaurus.

#DONOTCOMPLY

It gets worse. The constant pandering, self-promotion, salesmanship and unprofessional, childlike behavior of Bruen, the CEO of Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union, is blatantly obvious to the few hundred residents who bother to watch the City Council meetings and have the great misfortune to listen to him talk incessantly as he’s preparing to sell you a boat loan at Balsam Night Out, RV loans from Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union’s parking lot, or small business loans courtesy of Councilman Solomon Rajaratnam, the small business lending manager at Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union.

Bread and Circuses: Hollywood Promotions by a Facebook Mayor

Pictured above is Mayor Bruen and the Ridgecrest City Council awarding a “key to the city” to one of his masked sychophants, the smiling one to his left. This is an exemplary display of political buffoonery at its finest.

Pandering buffoonery becomes painfully visceral when you witness Bruen collecting $5 parking fees at the Desert Empire Fair entrance while wearing his Boy Scout uniform. Of course, some of Bruen’s buffoonery is all for a good cause (his) and you’ll notice we don’t like using acronyms when dumping on Mayor Bruen and Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union (or the Boy Scouts) for a reason.

The “American Dream”: Recruitment and Retention For Millenials

Let’s continue today’s theme (or meme) on “The American Dream for Millenials”. To recap, you are Ridgecrest’s millenials, yearning to be free, you’ve graduated from high school or college, and now the City and CEO Bruen want to entertain you with Balsam nights, Not Balsam nights, Desert Empire Fairs and concert events or movie nights at City hall. You will also be provided a “community” pool for your kids to play in. (Helpful Roadrunner hint: non-residents in the County will pay extra to play in the pool, nothing is free in Ridgecrest). This is really a “Recruitment and Retention” strategy for the Navy base.

Various exciting events at the Desert Empire Fair are also included in your “American dream” such as dirt bike races and a July 1st “freedom day fireworks event” disguised as a July 4th Independence Day celebration.

It’s called “morale, welfare and recreation” by the Navy, but it’s really a “recruitment and retention” strategy which is a more civil term compared to “grooming“. Your “independence” is not a matter to celebrate in Ridgecrest, and you’ve been advised to leave on the first bus out of town and never come back.

Freedom” in Ridgecrest is a quaint notion from the past and spoken as a “choice” as in “freedom of choice” by Bruen. For example, it makes no difference if Boxcar “A” or Boxcar “B” take you to the same FEMA concentration camp, you still have the choice to ride on “A” or “B” but you’ll be dead in both cases.

“Recruitment and Retention” anyone? (Added August 31, 2023)

A military whistleblower is going public to warn the American people about a huge spike in cases of heart failure among vaxxed service members.

The City of Ridgecrest is Really a Facebook Group in Disguise

Eric “vax mandate” Bruen is also a Facebook groupie with a band of merry narcissists and lowlifes playing childish censorship and trolling games on various Ridgecrest (93555) Facebook groups. The City of Ridgecrest uses Facebook as their first and only method of communicating to 30,000 residents, the majority of whom don’t use Facebook.

Combined with a complicit local newspaper called The Daily Independent acting as his mainstream media mouthpiece, Bruen is successfully “controlling the dialog” by interviewing City staff and the DI’s publisher John Watkins on video podcasts sponsored by, you guessed it, Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union. Bruen has all the messaging and narratives nicely wrapped up in one happy family.

Chip Holloway, the carnival barker and CEO at the Desert Empire Fair, was quoted by The Daily Independent just last July 4th saying, “the City wants to change the mindset that everything is free” in Ridgecrest. HAHAHAHA. Told ‘ya so oh gullible ones. You’re being set-up my dear millenials, we low-tech geezers know a thing or two, and now trashman Chip is the mouthpiece for The Daily Independent and the City and Mayor Bruen. (Helpful Roadrunner hint:The DI isn’t worth “free” if your time is money.)

Anyone who knows the term “quality of life” is subjective and meaningless will appreciate the terms “standard of living“, “disposable income” and “right to privacy“. How’s your quality of life these days? Are you happy and entertained or jobless, underfed and yearning to be free? There’s that word again.

Whether it be collecting parking fees at the Desert Empire Fair or walking around at the City’s Halloween night free candy handout dressed as a ballot with his name checked off, Bruen may be cute and entertaining but he’s really a wannabe fat-cat and an undignified one at that.

What is an Objectivist? “They don’t care about you at all, at all, at all” — George Carlin

There’s no mistaking Bruen’s non-political ideology. He’s not a Republican or a Democrat, he’s an Objectivist. He’s read Atlas Shrugged “100 times in his life, and twice a year for the last 25 years”! If you’re interested in becoming a psychologist take notes and read some Ayn Rand:

Objectivism is a philosophical system developed by Russian-American writer and philosopher Ayn Rand. She described it as “the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute”.

Wikipedia

Makes sense doesn’t it? Bruen the heroic being, with a Boy Scout’s moral purpose, a role model who sells you RV’s and a credit card at 22%. He knows that because he cares and loves “our community” and because you love social media, Hollywood and being entertained on Facebook, you’ll vote for him.

Pictured below is a mock-up of what we call a “shiny object” that you’ll be buying today (with borrowed money) in addition to paying the City 9.25% sales tax on top of everything you buy with your plastic 22% interest-bearing charge cards. Ouch! (You might be coming to the realization that Roadrunner395.com hates on plastic, cellphones and Facebook groupies).

We can state with absolute metaphysical certitude that what you see below is not what your going to get for $9 million (before the sales tax increase called Measure “P” for pool passed) or $14 million (revised immediately after Measure “P” for pool passed).

But you’re gonna get it good and hard no matter what the City builds, and Bruen will take credit for building it. Thank you Mayor Bruen. Thank you to the City of Ridgecrest. And thank you to Chip Holloway.

You all deserve each other.

Balsam Night Out is like a cattle roundup, and you are the cattle. BNO began under former Mayor Peggy Breeden and was an occasion to walk around downtown and meet the shop owners while wine tasting. In January, it became a big event promoted by the Mayor and his armored ATM van. He’s been planning these events for a long time, and it’s why he ran for Mayor, to entertain you while you play with your cell phones and read Facebooks. And that’s where Placer.ai comes in.

Millenials, you’ve been had! #DONOTCOMPLY

While selling you a credit card, a community pool and a sales tax increase, Mayor Bruen waves a shiny object called Kohl’s so you, the poor Millenials who need to buy clothes, will be able to test out your pretty new plastic charge cards.

Think for yourselves brave “cocky” ones. What will you do when someone throws a street party with wine and you prefer scotch? Answer: you take a pint with you, you’re not stupid, but don’t get too much “cocky” and don’t get roped into 20% interest rate credit cards buying shit you don’t need or can’t afford. Pay for everything you can in hard, cold cash.

#DONOTCOMPLY

In Closing, Wise Financial Advice From the Roadrunner

Remember millenials, pay for everything in cash. It’s much more real to watch your money disappear when paying with cash as opposed to conveniently swiping your card or cellphone to pay for expensive coffee. Screw those nasty credit cards and only use the ONE card you carry in your wallet or purse for emergencies only.

Online purchases with a credit card are a different matter but the principal principle (funny finance guy Freudian slip) remains the same. Do not use a credit card only to build your “social credit score” unless absolutely neccessary. Don’t buy a new RV in lieu of renting a box but find a good used one if you have dreams of living in a van down by the fairgrounds. There are plenty of used RV’s and boats stuffed in RV storage facilites. And don’t, whatever you do, buy a Tesla because you think you can save the planet. You won’t be saving anything if Klaus Schwab and Eric Bruen have their way.

UPDATE August 25, 2023, George Carlin Told ‘ya so in 2005…

More Americans Are Having A Hard Time Paying Their Credit Card Bills (via Zerohedge.com)

It’s the young whippersnappers we’re talking to here, you are the cattle in this story and Desert Valleys Federal Credit Union is in the midst of a cattle roundup. Remember this, a cattle roundup is for either for branding or a trip to the slaughterhouse. There is no escape if you’re roped. (Helpful Roadrunner Hint: Don’t get roped)

A cattle round-up is an appropriate analogy to Geofencing, and we advise that you to leave your cellphone at home and spread your wings and fly, anywhere will do. Just do it and #DONOTCOMPLY.

Prologue to Geofencing in a “Police Surveillance State”

Human Data Trafficking (You’re the Victim)

From the Department of Homeland Security webpage “What is human trafficking”, we’ll use the official definition as a template for our definition of “Human Data Trafficking”:

#DONOTCOMPLY

Human Data trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act or to obtain information about you, including where you live and where you travel.

Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked and surveilled worldwide – including right here in the United States. It can happen in any community and victims can be any age, race, gender, or nationality. Data Traffickers might use the following methods to lure victims into trafficking situations:

Violence, the government can pervasively track every Resident in every Census Tract in the U.S. when buying the Human Data which when trafficked, is called Commercially Available Information or CAI

Manipulation occurs when Human Data and GPS Location data are combined to track U.S. residents everywhere they go, 24-7-365.

False promises of well-paying jobs, economic development, safety, security, quality of life, and anonymizing your identity

Romantic relationships, street parties and event promotions such as Balsam Not a Night Out, aka Bread and Circuses which are supported in attendance by less than 10% of the population but paid for by 100% of the taxpayers.
