TYRANT NEWSOM Holds On to Power and Why the City of Navy/Ridgecrest is Doomed. Is a BRAC or an F-35 in the Cards?

“Ridgecrest’s Days are Numbered, Let the Economic Collapse Begin!”

Ridgecrest CA, Sept. 15, 2021

It appears that Gavin Newsom has survived the Recall and it will soon become clear to all what this means for the City of Ridgecrest. What will Congressman McCarthy do about it? He will do nothing because he can’t do anything about it.

These are the facts:

First, the City is already facing a loss of jobs. It appears that due to the Groundwater Authority’s “Basin Replenishment Fee” that’s currently showing up on water bills, Searles Valley Minerals will shut down with a loss of 600 jobs.

Second, the City is facing an exodus of sorts, people are selling their homes and taking advantage of record high prices in order to leave the area for greener pastures such as Arizona (in the case of Mick Gleaseon) or Idaho (in the case of Mike Mower) or Nevada (in the case of high income NAWSCL retirees).

Third, because of mask and vaccine mandates, many employees of both the Navy and Ridgecrest Regional Hospital will quit their jobs or be fired due to the vax mandate. This is especially true for employees of the City’s Police Department.

The Navy and it’s employees are now faced with mandatory vaccines, but they’re making the Navy sick: See “Navy Surgeon Sounds the Alarm (Video added 9/23/2021)

How is Ridgcrest doomed?

Well, for starters, based upon an informal survey, “over half” of the Ridgecrest Police Department will “bounce out”. You know what that means and this is in a City that has already exceeded last years 2,200 arrests. It’s only September and crime is skyrocketing and prisons are being flushed by Newsom.

September 23, 2021 Update: We recieved a response from the Ridgecrest Police Department on arrest statistics that was made when writing this story:

The current number of arrests by RPD year to date compared to last year are as follows:

  • 01/01/2021 – 09/16/2021 arrests: 1800
  • 01/01/2020 – 09/16/2020 arrests: 1818
  • We do not record the data to answer your question regarding arrests involving previous offenders. Also, we do not conduct surveys regarding the vax information you requested.

This may be good news considering last year the City was in lockdown as a result of Newsom’s emergency edicts. Our takeaway: Criminals don’t stop working during a lockdown.

Next, many of the employees of Ridgecrest Regional Hospital will quit because they know the vaccines don’t work or might make them seriously sick. Did you know the National Guard has been called out in Oregon to fill in for CNA’s and other hospital workers? Why don’t you ask Mr. Suver, CEO of Ridgecrest Regional Hospital what he thinks?

What about the impact that WATER will have on the quality of life as well as the economy in the Indian Wells Valley? The basin’s going down no matter what the GA or City does. There is no solution in lieu of a resolution to the water emergency brought on by the Groundwater Authority and SGMA. Fortunately, we have a 40 plus year supply. It may be much more than that according to our sources, and the Stetson report was repeatedly called into question during the formation of the GA.

Who will fill the jobs lost by the Navy, City, the Police Department and the Hospital? Where will all the workers that are rebuilding the base go when they complete their projects or decide they’d rather shop a job in non-mandate state? Where will students of Cerro Coso Community College go to get an education if they’re required to take the jab?

There will be no growth in the City of Ridgecrest anytime soon. That’s a fact. Any improvement due to the base rebuild will be temporary. Any pop in the economy due to the rebuild at China Lake NAWS has already happened. Many of the employees who work for the contractors will also quit their jobs because of the vax mandates or mask mandates in schools. They know mask mandates are bad for their children and the vax mandate violates their rights.

What about the F-35?

The Naval Air War Station at China Lake (NAWSCL) is anxious to get an F-35 assignment, and the new.runway, control tower and hangers will certainly be designed for that purpose along with the other flying things we don’t know about (Secret City). The F-35 is becoming a legendary boondogle, and NAWCL could become a prime candidate to help fix the problems that plague the jet. Or not. After over a decade of warnings, let’s remind ourselves of this 2017 gem from Military.com: Navy Wasted Enough on Continuing Resolutions to Buy F-35 Squadron. We could’ve used that squadron.

Two F-35C Lightning II aircraft assigned to the Grim Reapers of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 101 sit on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) on Sept. 4, 2017. The secretary of the Navy says the service has wasted enough money in continuing resolutions to have paid for an entire squadron of the aircraft. Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Matt Herbst/Navy

Norm Singleton via The Mises Institute has called the F-35 program a terrible investment as it makes “America less safe by spending us into bankruptcy”. The Navy base has been the leading test bed for the F-18 and it’s role at the facility is likely history so it’s only natural for the F-35 to come to NAWSCL. Will the F-35 be coming to NAWSCL?

If someone on the Ridgecrest City Council, including the Mayor, could explain how the City of Ridgecrest isn’t doomed and where all this new growth is going to come from, we’d like to hear from them. Charging stations, fast-food restaurants and cinemas aren’t indicators of healthy economic growth at the local level. It’s exactly the opposite.

Bid farewell to the City of Ridgecrest, stick a fork in it, turn out the lights, the party is over.

Due to the collapse of the economy, loss of jobs, vax and mask mandates, the water emergency “Armegeddon” and the “encroachment” issues facing China Lake NAWS, a BRAC is in the cards and the future of the Indian Wells Valley looks very bleak indeed.
